Paper Bag Size Guide

Width - The width (W) of the bag specifically refers to how long the X axis of the bag is. Measure this from left to right, and note it down.

Gusset - The gusset (G) of the bag specifically refers to how long the Z axis of the bag is when folded out. Ensure the bag is fully folded out and not slack, then measure from left to right and note this down.

When deciding on your ideal size, you must list your sizes in the correct order. For paper and luxury bags, this means listing the size with the gusset as the middle value - Width, Bottom Gusset, Length.

In this example, the size should be presented in the following way:

Width x Bottom Gusset x Length

So 320(W)x130(G)x420(L)mm.

180(W)x220(L)x80(G)mm

This size is close to A5, but wider. It is the smallest standard size of flat handle paper bag, and is ideal for stationery and notebooks. This size is good for food outlets, merchandisers, and is the perfect size for event goodie bags.

A small bag but wide, slightly smaller than A4 paper. This makes these bags ideal sandwich bags, small takeaway bags, and small shopping bags.
